About Us
Mission
Our mission at Jake & Daisey's is to deliver to dog owners the best balanced raw food diet in the market; to provide a variety of meal options that are life extending as well nutritionally fortifying in a convenient package for ease of handling.
It is our mission regardless of medical history or activity level to provide products that will enhance the development and longevity of your canine companion. Jake & Daisey's believe that biologically appropriate food delivers a better quality of life for all dogs.
History
The company was incorporated in December of 2003. Jake & Daisey's is 100% Canadian owned and operated, located in Burnaby, BC, which is a part of the Greater Vancouver Lower Mainland.
A distributor relationship with Maddies Natural Pet Products Ltd. was set up in March of 2005 offering fast, reliable, and convenient service to our growing retail sales network. With more than 100 retailers currently in BC, Alberta and Ontario (through Leis Pet Distributing Inc.), Jake & Daisey's is readily available to you, our valued customers.
Quality Control
It is very important to us at Jake & Daisey's that from the time we inspect and purchase the meat products as well as the vegetables, that a series of steps are followed and maintained enabling the safe handling of all our ingredients. Quality control begins with the selection of the product to the environment and temperature in which the products are prepared and packaged, to the series of hands that move the product from the manufacturer to the distributor to the retailer and then to you at home.
